Whether you're new to the field or have years of experience, VIPTC offers comprehensive infection prevention and control (IPC) education opportunities for those interested in growing their professional skillset. Thanks to funding from the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), courses and webinars are currently being offered with no registration fee.
Course Levels
Programming will focus on the rationale behind foundational infection prevention practices including hand hygiene, hospital acquired infections (HAIs) and basic prevention strategies, and drug resistant organism recognition and control (including isolation, environmental cleaning and disinfection, basic epidemiology and surveillance training, and personal protective equipment).
